Temporary pin dashboard
The Temporary Pin Dashboard displays information about the location.
The dashboard will show top matches for Soil ID and Ecological Site Name. Initially the Soil ID is based only on the location. To get a more accurate Soil ID, tap the Create Site Here button and collect data that will make a more accurate prediction.
After viewing a location on the Sites tab map, you may want to save it for future reference or for data collection purposes. A saved location is known as a site, which is a latitude-longitude coordinate pair that can be named, set as public or private, added to projects, and have data entered and saved for them. As the basic organizational unit of LandPKS, sites provide are valuable to users who want to collect and save observations at a location, learn more about the land and its potential, and share with others.
